ACCOUNT / SUBSCRIPTION

Accounts & subscriptions

Handle account setup, subscription refreshes, device changes and plan upgrades. For subscription details, always get the current information from the user panel instead of reusing an outdated configuration from an unknown source.

How do I create a UWVPN account?

Open the user panel and set a username and password to create an account; no email address is required. Then open the plans page to choose a monthly subscription or data package, and get the client and subscription details from the panel. Keep your username and password secure. After using a public device, sign out of the panel and clear any saved login state in the browser.

How should I update my subscription link?

First find the current subscription in your client and run its update or refresh action, then wait for the route list to reload. If the client still shows old content, remove the old local subscription, copy the current subscription details from the user panel, and import them again. Do not forward subscription details to others or keep multiple configurations with the same name but different sources, as this can lead to selecting the wrong one.

Do I need to buy another plan when I switch devices?

No. UWVPN supports unlimited devices, so the same account’s active subscription can be used on Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. When switching devices, open the user panel to get the client for the new platform, then import the subscription. If the old device is no longer in use, delete the subscription details saved on it.

What happens if I upgrade a monthly subscription partway through its term?

Monthly subscription traffic resets each month on the activation date. For a mid-term upgrade, the price difference is prorated based on the remaining days; the upgrade is not treated as simply starting a separate new term. Before submitting an upgrade, check the current plan, remaining status and target plan in the user panel. Continue only after confirming the details, so a short-term traffic need is not mistaken for a longer upgrade.

CONNECTION / DIAGNOSIS

Connections & troubleshooting

Change one variable at a time: check the subscription first, switch routes next, then review client permissions and routing rules. Changing too many things at once makes the source of the issue harder to identify.

What should I check first when the client cannot connect?

First confirm that the subscription is still active and refresh it in the client. Then switch to another route, check that the system time is correct, and confirm that the client has the required network permissions. If the system or client was recently updated, fully quit the client and reopen it. If connection still fails, note the platform, selected route and exact error text, then submit a ticket through the user panel.

Why does a particular app fail to use the proxy?

A common cause is that the current routing rules do not match the domain used by the app, or that the client only handles browser traffic. Temporarily switch the client’s connection mode to determine whether the issue comes from the route or the rules. If that restores access, check the routing list, system network permissions and the app’s own network settings. Reconnect after changing rules so the new configuration takes full effect.

What should I do if no routes appear after importing a subscription?

First confirm that you imported the current subscription details provided in the user panel, rather than an old screenshot, truncated text or a local configuration exported by another client. After updating the subscription, check whether the client reports a format error or a failed network request. If the list remains empty, delete the subscription and import it again. Do not edit the subscription manually, since extra spaces or missing characters can cause parsing to fail.

How do I migrate after changing my system or client?

We do not recommend copying the entire data directory from the old client. Open the user panel to get the client and subscription details for the new platform, import them again in the new environment, and configure routing rules as needed. This avoids carrying over old permissions, caches and expired configurations. UWVPN supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux.

ROUTE / PERFORMANCE

Speed & routes

Route performance depends on the local network, cross-border path, exit region and target service. Focus on whether the actual task remains stable, rather than treating a single latency reading or short-lived peak as the whole picture.

How should I troubleshoot slowdowns during peak hours?

First pause bandwidth-heavy syncing, downloads and system updates, then compare other routes in the same region. If only a particular website is slow, try a route near the target region and check whether the routing rules send that site through the intended exit. If every route is slow, compare with a direct local connection to rule out home-network congestion, wireless signal fluctuations or changes in the carrier path.

How do I choose a low-latency route?

Prefer routes that are geographically closer and whose routing direction matches the target service region, but do not rely on a single latency reading. Real-world performance also depends on the local network, cross-border path, target-site response and time of day. For work and web browsing, prioritize responsiveness; for large files and streaming, also check whether sustained transfers remain stable. Compare routes in the same region before choosing a regular option.

Which region should I choose for streaming?

First confirm the region associated with the content, then choose a route in that region or a nearby one. After connecting, reopen the streaming app so it can detect the exit region again. If it still shows the previous catalog, clear the app cache and check the account’s region settings. Streaming availability can also depend on platform policies, account details and payment region, so the route region is only one part of the troubleshooting process.

What do 120+ countries / 250+ routes mean?

This means UWVPN offers route coverage across 120+ countries / 250+ routes. Country coverage helps match access needs in different regions, while multiple routes in one region make it easier to switch when network conditions change. Choose based on the target service’s location, local network quality and the task at hand, rather than assuming that a more distant or unusual-looking route will always be faster.

BILLING / REFUND

Billing & refunds

Monthly subscriptions suit more consistent usage, while data packages suit usage that varies. Before paying, verify the plan type, traffic allowance and amount so the two billing models are not confused.

Which monthly subscription plans are available?

Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Traffic resets monthly on the activation date, and the price difference for a mid-term upgrade is prorated over the remaining days. Check actual usage on your regular devices first, then choose a tier that fits your consistent needs; do not estimate a full month from one download or a short speed test.

Do data packages expire?

Data packages remain available until used and never expire. Options include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. They suit usage that is not consistent from month to month and users who prefer to consume data as needed. Monthly subscriptions and data packages follow different traffic rules, so check the package type on the plans page before choosing and do not confuse monthly resets with data that never expires.

Which payment methods are supported?

UWVPN supports Alipay / WeChat / USDT. When placing an order, open the plans page from the user panel, choose the required item, and then use one of the payment methods listed there. Before paying, verify the plan name, traffic allowance and amount, and keep the order page accessible. Do not create duplicate orders for the same request. If the payment status does not update, submit a ticket through the user panel with the order details.

How do I request a refund?

UWVPN offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user panel and submit a ticket describing the relevant order and refund request, then follow the handling details in the ticket. Before submitting, check whether the wrong plan was selected and whether the connection issue can be resolved by updating the subscription or switching routes. If you still want a refund, keep the order record and avoid submitting the same request more than once.
